Back in 2018, Jade Nguyen confided that her parents – the heart and soul behind Be’s Restaurant in The Junction for over thirty years – had a new dream: to open a bar. Brought to life through her vision and with the guidance of a local bar specialist, she transformed the once-forgotten room into The Alley—a hidden speakeasy serving prohibition-era cocktails and shareable small bites.

Once you slip through the secret entrance you’ll find yourself in a warm Gatsby-style nook. Velvet drapes spill across the old industrial windows, casting a soft, sultry glow. A crystal chandelier twinkles above a cozy alcove, while an antique fireplace and freshly laid brickwork create the illusion of a place with decades of stories. It feels like a true speakeasy—timeless, intimate, and buzzing with the spirit of the Jazz Age.
